Food was hot and fast, the only thing is they should have made sure the order was right. Sent the wrong Drink.
Clean, fast service, was exciting to see poutine on the menu, and the little maple leaf on the mcdonalds logo
Who knew the menu and kids toys in Canada would be so different? Instead of a Sonic the Hedgehog toy, we opted for a hardcover book(!) twitch our son's happy meal. The content, vocabulary, length, and illustrations all exceeded expectations. Also appreciated the compostable spork with our poutine!
One of my favorite places in the North America and likely the entire world is Windsor, Ontario. If you don't know, Windsor is the first town when you cross the Canadian border from Detroit and also home to a Wal-mart, a large casino, several Tim Horton's and two McDonald's. And in case are wondering, I've been to all those places on more than one occasion. And while I each establishment is wonderful (understatement), this McDonald's holds the highest place in my heart. In all fairness, I like pretty much every McDonald's I've ever been to but this McDonald's is easily in my top ten, maybe five. Tbh, I'm not even sure where to begin. Just kidding, I am. Let's talk about the poutine. Yes, McDonald's in Canada serves poutine, that gooey glob of fries, cheese curds and gravy. And in case you're wondering, it's great. What was even better about the Poutine itself is the fact when I ordered it here, I didn't feel judged violently and that didn't upset me. Also, the atmosphere and the employees. One word: Wow. It's all fabulous. I couldn't say a bad thing about either if I tried. Like, it's Canada and a Mcdonald's. So, there's that. And finally, the wait. I'm a top executive and rarely have time to flop around. That being said, quick food in top eating establishments is highly important. On both occasions here I've waited like, negative time for my food. You should come here the end.
When we lived in Illinois, we took a weekend trip up through Detroit into Canada because (1) we could, and (2) Canadian McDonald's serve McChickens!!!!!! It was worth it! The fact Canada still does it shows their awesomeness...just saying!
